Huizenga applauds $9M investment in Cascade Township

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Mark Huizenga applauded the announcement of a new manufacturing facility coming to Cascade Charter Township with capital access support from the state.

“I supported this multimillion-dollar investment to help create over 100 jobs in Cascade, and I look forward to seeing the hard work of so many people finally pay dividends for our community and our workers when this facility opens,” said Huizenga, R-Walker. “As the home to Trane’s HVAC manufacturing operations, this facility will offer new opportunities for local workers and provide more direct access to MVAC equipment for West Michigan families.”

The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved a Private Activity Bond Authorization for up to $9,085,000 to Kraft Avenue Properties, LLC to build a more than 128,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Cascade Charter Township.

The new building will be leased to Trane U.S. Inc. to manufacture HVAC equipment.
